It's Worth Knowing

As mentioned previously, in nature we have various types of oil, each one with specific characteristics. A few examples, to understand that a food can be considered a true product for well-being:

Olio di Semi di Girasole

Sunflower Oil: Sunflower seed oil contains triglycerides, with a high content of linoleic acid, an essential lipid type Omega6, also contains Vitamin E, which is a natural antioxidant to prevent the formation of free radicals and therefore aging.

Olio di Semi di Sesamo

Sesame seeds Oil: Sesame seeds are rich in oleic acid (typical of olive oil) and linoleic acid (precursor of the omega 6 fatty acids, important for healthy skin), contained in similar proportions.
Although small the content of vitamin E is also very important along with sesamol to protect the oil from turning rancid as well as to give precious antioxidant properties to the seeds.
Sesame oil can positively change the relationship between good HDL cholesterol and bad LDL cholesterol.

Olio di Semi di Lino

Linseed Oil: The most important aspect, related to the properties of flaxseed has been shown in the research carried out in the United States asserting that consumption of flaxseed may reduce the risk of developing certain types of cancer: breast, prostate, and colon and adnexa.
Studies on animals seem to demonstrate that omega-3 fatty acids would be able to inhibit the formation of cancer cells in the above-mentioned organs. Likewise lignans would be able to interfere with the growth and diffusion of cancer cells.
Flax seeds are also used to treat other diseases such as inflammations, abscesses and hemorrhoids, Furthermore they protect the cardiovascular system, in fact, they stabilize the heart rate thus reducing the risk of infarct.

Olio d'Oliva

Extra virgin olive oil: It is recommended thanks to its high content of monounsaturated fatty acids. Its benefits are related to the presence of antioxidants (phenols and tocopherols) that counteract the destructive action of cellular integrity due to free radicals.
